Fire Breaks Out in HVB Residential Property in Uppsala

The emergency services received a call at 01:45 reporting that an HVB home in a residential area in Sunnersta, Uppsala, was on fire. Roughly 15 firefighters from three stations worked to extinguish the fire, but it was eventually decided to allow the home to burn down under the supervision of the emergency services. According to Christer Eriksson, the rescue service management operator, there is presently no danger of the fire spreading to other areas. Despite several individuals being evacuated, there are no reports of injuries.

At 01:45, the emergency services were alerted that an HVB home in a residential area in Sunnersta in Uppsala was on fire. Three stations and approximately 15 firefighters tried to fight the fire. The home is on fire and will be allowed to burn down under the supervision of the emergency services.

– At the moment there is no risk of spread, says rescue service management operator Christer Eriksson.

Several people have been evacuated, but there are no reports of injuries.
