After a somewhat sleepy few weeks, it looks like the free-to-play trend is starting to pick up speed once more, with a pair of titles already available to all users of the Epic Games Store platform, another intriguing free title that can be grabbed within the next day from the GOG online store – and a couple more Free already waiting at the launch point for next week. We’ve compiled them here for you to make sure you don’t miss any of them – enjoy!
On the GOG store, you can now get a file protection-free copy of the 2018 strategy and card game Deep Sky Derelicts, which is a kind of deep space twist on the successful indie title Darkest Dungeon. This game received an average score of 70 out of 100 from critics according to the Metacritic website, an average of 74 percent positive reviews from players on Steam and an average of 4 out of 5 from players on the GOG platform itself – so in our opinion it is definitely worth adding to the pool, even if you do not plan to play in this very moment.

The free distribution comes as a promotion for the spring sales in the GOG store, which encompass over 4,500 different DRM-free titles from the distant past and present, with discounts of up to 90 percent for some. On EGS, you can now pick up a colorful 2D action game called Tunche, which originally launched in 2021 and holds 76 percent positive reviews on Steam plus an even better average score of 4.3 out of 5 from users on Epic Games’ platform.

Another freebie in the Epic Store that will be available until this Thursday is a dystopian adventure (or Point-and-Click) game called The Silent Age which is intended for an adult audience and was first launched last year. Instead of paying the original recommended price of NIS 34, you can pick it up at your library permanently for free, so it’s hard to complain – even if it’s not the title of your dreams.
