BOLZANO. The Traffic Police is currently involved in checking the regularity of access to public establishments and local, national and international transport of people, along the provincial road network. The control activity is aimed at both customers and workers.

In Chienes, a worker was caught working without being green certified. A similar violation was therefore charged to the owner of the premises, due to the lack of control over the regularity of access by the employee. Three other administrative violations due to the lack of green certification were challenged yesterday.

The first two penalties for people transported inside a bus that performed transport within Europe. The third to the driver of the vehicle, sanctioned for failing to check the regularity of the people on board.

The traffic police also announced that as part of the Roadpol “Alcohol & Drugs” operation, the patrols controlled 356 vehicles in Alto Adige and issued 248 fines. In the week from 6 to 12 December dedicated to the campaign, patrols reported 4 drivers for driving under the influence of drugs, further aggravated as the driver was a novice driver. Three other drivers were reported for driving under the influence of alcohol.
