The tiger landed again at Wayanad fox corner. Suni, a native of Padamala, attacked his goat. The incident took place at around 3 am today. With this, the number of pets killed by the tiger has increased to 15. The ban has been in force for five days in four divisions of Mananthavady municipality. The decision is to deploy more rangers in the area.
The forest department and police are actively searching the area. The day before yesterday, a tiger attacked Johnson’s goat and Tenkuzhi Jinson’s cow at Kurakkanmoola Puduchira. With this, the people of Payyampally Kurukkanmoola and Padamala areas became panic stricken.
