Samling Party given a brief advantage by Yle

According to the latest poll by Yle, the Samlingsparty, a liberal conservative party, is currently in the lead with 19.8 percent of the vote, closely followed by the nationalist True Finns with 19.5 percent. The Social Democrats, led by Prime Minister Sanna Marin, are in third place with 18.7 percent. Elina Valtonen, the vice-chairman of Samlingspartiet, has stated that they are open to cooperating with any party. The Coalition Party’s main priority is to accelerate economic growth in Finland, as per Valtonen’s statement. The election is set to take place on Sunday.
