The RAD company, the market leader in telecom access solutions, smart industry and critical infrastructures, won the excellence award from the IoT Evolution organization for the SecFlow solution it developed.
The title was awarded to the company for its innovation in the field of industrial IoT that enables secure connectivity and transfer of information collected from a variety of sensors and smart systems, while streamlining business conduct and the decision-making process in organizations from the field of critical infrastructure.

As an example of the company’s success, the awardees cited a case study of SecFlow’s integration as an IoT Gateway in the facilities of an international electricity company, where it significantly reduced the amount of interruptions and disconnections related to data traffic from IoT sensors to the operator’s control center. The electric company suffered from network interruptions during busy periods of activity, which created a significant problem in customer service.
The SecFlow routed the data from different types and generations of sensors, using information security and edge computing capabilities. Thanks to this, the monitoring of the traffic from the systems and sensors in the field was carried out without interruption and enabled lower power consumption and a higher level of security compared to other solutions.
