For this all the stores have been provided with point of sale devices with fingerprint registration. These tools require internet service to work.
For this B. S. N. L. , internet service is used in all ration shops.
In this case, in the last few months in many villages including Arumbuliyur and Salavakkam, B. S. N. L. , the company web service is not available properly.
Due to this, fingerprints of customers coming to the ration shop to buy products are delayed.
Due to this, the customers suffer and in some places the general public is involved in arguments with the ration shop sellers.
A ration shop salesperson said:
B. S. N. L. , Modern handheld device with fingerprint registration is not working properly due to tower problem. This cannot be explained to the customers.
When they arrive at the store, they feel they have to finish their work. This causes various difficulties.
Therefore, in villages B. S. N. L. , the concerned department authorities should take steps to provide 4G internet service instead of 3G internet service in part-time ration shops along with making it available without ‘Tower’ problem.
