ENetflix, the streaming platform that has drastically reduced subscription rates in India. The new rate has been reduced to Rs 149 per month starting from Rs 199 per month. Customers can use Netflix at this rate on mobiles and tablets.
The new plans will apply to all customers. It is seen as a move by the company to gain more subscribers in the country. The huge discount is on Netflix’s basic plan. The basic plan which was earlier Rs 499 can now be enjoyed for Rs 199. Those who recharge their basic plan can use Netflix on their phones, tablets, computers and TVs. But it is only available in 480 pixel video quality.
The Rs 149 mobile plan is for phones and tabs. It also has a resolution of 480 pixels.
If you want to enjoy video in HD resolution, you need to recharge the standard plan of Rs 499. Enjoy Netflix on all devices at 1080 pixel resolution.
The Rs 649 premium plan offers videos in 4K HDR resolution. Earlier, the premium plan was priced at Rs 799.

“We are lowering our rates, which are included throughout our plans, which include all of our local and global services. Netflix Vice President – Content (India) Monica Shergill told PTI.
Amazon recently announced that it will increase the annual membership fee for its Prime program in India by 50% to Rs 1,499. Meanwhile, Netflix has announced a huge reduction in rates.
