Ross Young, a well-known analyst with a fairly accurate track record in analyzing new iPhones, has revealed for the first time the under-display Face ID technology that the iPhone 17 Pro may use.
Young has posted a timeline of new iPhone screen technology that we will see in 2025 with the iPhone 17 Pro model will have Face ID under the screen along with a punch hole front camera, 1 lens, plus a display screen. results of this whole family (Including regular models) will get a LTPO model that may see the Always On Display feature in normal models once.
Young previously posted an old timeline that stated that the iPhone would get Face ID under the screen in 2024, but due to sensor issues, it had to be delayed by a year.
