“Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny”, the fifth film in the adventure series, will have its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival on May 18, festival organizers announced on Monday. Cannes will also pay tribute to Ford for his career.

The premiere of the film “Dial of Destiny”, directed by James Mangold, takes place 15 years after the film “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” in 2008 premiered at the French festival. “Dial of Destiny,” billed as the final chapter in the franchise, will be released in U.S. theaters on June 28.

“Dial of Destiny,” which has been rumored to be headed to Cannes, adds a second premiere at this year’s festival, which begins May 16.

On Friday, Cannes announced the premiere of Martin Scorsese’s highly anticipated Killers of the Flower Moon, an Apple TV+ adaptation of David Grann’s bestseller about a series of Osage Nation murders in 1920s Oklahoma. The cast includes Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro. The film’s premiere, set for May 20, will mark Scorsese’s first film at Cannes since “After Hours” in 1986.

The full list from Cannes will be announced on April 13
