Pope Francis’ Twitter message.
Fr. Jinu Jacob, Vatican City
During Holy Week, Christians especially meditate on the suffering and death of Jesus, and look forward to his resurrection. This model of Christian life is revealed by many testimonies that many people find solitude and comfort through the cross they worship. In his message on Twitter on April 4th, Pope Francis underlines that the fountain of forgiveness that comes from the cross warms our fraternity.
The full text of the Twitter message reads:
Through the cross the fountain of forgiveness flows and brotherhood is reborn as a result. This cross makes us brothers.
