While Paris has obtained the organization of the 2024 Olympic Games, we invite you to discover the sites that will host the events.
- The place: the Jean-Bouin stadium
Built at the foot of the Parc des Princes, the Jean-Bouin stadium has been completely redesigned to become, since 2013, an enclosure dedicated to rugby, home to the French stadium Paris, even if football also settled there during the Red Star 2016/2017 season.
- Sport: rugby sevens
Rugby made a remarkable comeback at the Games, in Rio in 2016. Played at XV from 1900 to 1924, the oval ball returned in the spectacular format at VII. The first gold medals in the discipline went to Fiji, for men, and Australia, for women.
- The spectator capacity
The Jean-Bouin stadium can accommodate 20,000 spectators.
- State of the equipment: built, no development planned
Brand new, the Jean-Bouin stadium is already ready to host a competition on the scale of the Games.
