The AES El Salvador companies: AES CAESS, AES CLESA, AES EEO, AES DEUSEM, and their Nejapa generation plant, along with their respective branches of the El Salvador Electric Industry Union (SIES), were awarded the National Award for Collective Bargaining, granted by the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare to those institutions that promote the best collective contracts for the benefit of their employees and promote dialogue and negotiation.

For the Executive President of AES El Salvador, Abraham Bichara, guaranteeing the best working conditions that allow growth and the full professional and personal development of employees is a fundamental practice within the group’s companies. “Achieving this recognition has only been possible thanks to frank dialogue and negotiation, through transparent, serious and honest discussions, which have allowed us, throughout our history, to find points of rapprochement and satisfactory agreements for all parties”, Bichara said.

This award becomes an incentive for the valuable work of all parties that play a decisive role in guaranteeing the best working conditions for employees, including the Human Resources Department and the Legal Department of AES El Salvador, as well as the Union of the Electrical Industry of El Salvador, with whom a close dialogue has been maintained permanently that has allowed us to learn first-hand about the needs of the sector.

In this way, AES El Salvador will continue to seek fair and safe working environments and conditions, to continue promoting value practices that guarantee the well-being of its entire workforce.
