The year 2022 has been exceptional for the group specializing in health. It achieved a record turnover of 1.03 billion dirhams, up 34% compared to 2021.

The year 2023 looks very promising for Akdital. The group specializing in health, which has just completed a record year 2022 with revenues exceeding one billion dirhams, is preparing to open “in the coming days two new establishments in Fez”, announces Ilyas El Harti. Akdital’s deputy general manager is very confident about the outlook for the current year, since the group will begin a new 2024-2025 investment program and will benefit from the activities of the new establishments opened in 2022 and early 2023.

For future investments, the group will set its sights on small towns and little-used specialties such as geriatrics. “The Moroccan population is getting older and older. Nearly 15% of Moroccans are over the age of 65, hence our objective of developing a range of specialized care in geriatrics. Oncology and cardiovascular surgeries will also be priorities in our investment program,” said Rochdi Talib, CEO of Akdital, on Tuesday April 4, 2023 in Casablanca, during the presentation of the 2022 results.

Several sites and towns have been identified, notably in Errachidia where the land has been acquired, in Tétouan and Khouribga where construction has already started and in Safi, Ben Guerir, Essaouira and Taroudant. The city of Dakhla is also among the targeted cities, where the group is in the process of identifying the appropriate site for the construction of its future healthcare establishment.

Recall that the group achieved a turnover of 1.03 billion dirhams in 2022, up 34% compared to 2021. Up 52%, EBITDA stood at 283 million dirhams. The consolidated net result reached, meanwhile, 99 million dirhams. A dividend of 3.25 dirhams per share will be proposed.
