New Delhi: The country’s wholesale price inflation rose to a 12-year low of 14.23 per cent in November, according to the Commerce and Industry Department.
Wholesale price inflation rose to 2.29 per cent in November, on account of higher prices of petroleum, natural gas, basic metals, chemicals and food items.
In terms of food inflation, it has more than doubled in November this year compared to November last year.
Retail inflation rose to 4.91 per cent in October from 4.48 per cent in November.
