Minister Hania Pérez supervised the delivery of the first emergency lease bonds to victims of the Cieneguilla district

The Minister of Housing, Construction and Sanitation, Hania Pérez de Cuéllar, supervised this Tuesday, April 4, the delivery of the first Housing Lease Bonds for Emergencies (BAE) or Bonus 500, to 33 families affected and registered in the district of Cieneguilla who lost their houses or were declared uninhabitable as a result of the rains caused by Cyclone Yaku.

The delivery was made in the Plaza de Armas of Cieneguilla and was attended by the district mayor, Emilio Chávez; the executive president of Banco de la Nación, Juan Carlos Galfré, as well as families qualified to receive the temporary housing bonus.

Minister Pérez de Cuéllar highlighted that Cieneguilla was the first district to deliver the list of victims, which allowed her sector to carry out a quick verification and validation of the information, expediting the granting of the rental bond.

“Today we deliver the emergency rental voucher to the first 33 beneficiary families of Cieneguilla, who receive this subsidy with great hope and which allows them to mitigate their situation after having lost their homes,” he said.
