Actor Vijay Sethupathi has been summoned by a court in Saidapet, Chennai to appear in person in connection with the Bangalore airport incident. The order was issued on a petition filed by Maha Gandhi.
Maha Gandhi has mentioned that he met actor Vijay Sethupathi at the Bangalore International Airport on the night of November 2 last year and when he tried to greet him, he used a caste name and insulted himself. He also said that manager Johnson had assaulted him but the slander had spread as he had tried to attack Vijay Sethupathi.
The Chennai Saidapet court today (14/12/2021) ordered that actor Vijay Sethupathi and his manager Johnson be summoned to appear in person on January 4.
