April 5, 1793 He was born in the village of Palanectsi near Baranavichy Konstantin Radzivil, political figure and philanthropist, one of the first Belarusian folklorists. Konstantin Radzivil gathered a huge library, a collection of works of art, recorded local dialects and collected folklore.
The complex of buildings of the former Radzivil palace in the village of Palanechka, Baranovitsky district, was sold at auction on December 4, 2020 for 20,160 rubles. It was purchased by the only bidder – an individual entrepreneur from Minsk.
The new owner plans to restore the princely estate. The complex of buildings includes a two-story capital building with an area of 1.6 thousand square meters, built in 1836, a canteen with three annexes, and a boiler room. A plot of land with an area of 3.3 hectares is leased for a period of 50 years.
