The UAE is threatening to withdraw from the F-35 deal following “excessive security requirements” on aircraft weapons, the Wall Street Journal reported. The Emirates claim that the US administration has demanded increased security that will protect a Chinese intruder into fighter jet systems. A senior U.S. administration official said: “We remain committed to aircraft sales. We hope we can resolve these issues in a joint dialogue.”
