Candela, a play that is a true story about optimism and about the struggle to conquer our dreams, will soon return to the Cuban cultural scene in its second premiere season, the Jazz Vilá Projects communication team announced today.

The presentations will begin in Cárdenas, Matanzas, on Thursday, April 6 and Friday, April 7, and will later move to its usual stage in La Rampa starting on Friday, April 14.

In the case of the premiere at the La Rampa Cinema, the show will take place at 8:30 pm, and will remain at this time for the duration of the season, with two weekly frequencies (Friday and Saturday).

In its first season, Candela was considered by critics to be an intelligent and musically exquisite comedy and, according to several attendees at the productions, the play exploits the interaction with the audience to the maximum at all times.

The fun dynamics of the work does not prevent him from touching deep and sensitive themes such as frustration, the crisis of values and emotional resistance from a hopeful perspective and from the desire to continue and get ahead.
