Honda Amaze 10th Anniversary: We thought there was nothing special about it, but are you ready to make a Honda Amaze car?

by time news

Honda’s Amaze Car is a car that has revolutionized the Indian market and was first launched in April 2013. It has been 10 years. Within months of its launch, the car became Honda’s best-selling car.

Honda has sold 5.3 lakh Amaze cars in the last 10 years alone. Currently, one in two Honda car buyers owns an Amaze. The Honda Amaze currently accounts for 53 percent of Honda’s overall car sales.

The important thing about this is that the Honda Amaze E20 came to fuel restrictions only in 2013. This means that the Honda Amaze will run on E20 fuel for the first time when it is launched.

According to Honda, 40 percent of the buyers are first-time buyers. Not only that, 60 percent of the total Amaze car sales are sold in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.

The company said that out of 100 cars of Honda’s Amaze sedan sold, 35 cars were sold with automatic gear.

Speaking on the 10th anniversary of the launch of Honda Amaze, the company’s President Akuya Sumura said: “Today we have set a milestone in our Indian market. The Amaze is completing 10 years with 5.3 lakh customers.

We launched this car as a premium entry model car in India. The car’s strong brand appeal, bold styling, outstanding performance, durability, build quality, safety, and luxurious experience make Amaze a best-selling car.”

Honda sold the first generation car from April 2013 to March 2018. A total of 2.6 lakh cars have been sold. Next, the company launched the second generation car in May 2018. The car sold a total of 2.7 lakh cars.

This car competes with Maruti Suzuki Dzire and Hyundai Aura in the market. After the arrival of sub-compact SUVs in India, sales in the overall sedan segment shrank as customers preferred those cars.

The Honda Amaze was introduced in the first generation model with practical design, spacious cabin, 1.2-litre petrol and new 1.5-litre i-DTech diesel engine option. When this car was launched, there was a lot of buzz for the diesel engine in the market.

The second generation car fixed the problems of the first generation and made it more premium and more luxurious. And this head is equipped with an automatic gearbox for the first time in the sedan segment on a diesel engine. Now the diesel engine is stopped.

The Honda Amaze is equipped with a 1.2-litre i-Vitec engine. It is mated to a 5-speed manual or CVT gearbox. Honda manufactures the Amaze at its Dappakara center in Rajasthan, sells it domestically and exports it abroad.

This Honda Amaze car is manufactured in India and currently exported to South Africa and SAARC countries. Additional Information Honda network currently has 325 showrooms in 236 cities in India!
