Riyadh: The General Directorate of Civil Defense has asked Saudi Arabia to be cautious in the wake of weather warnings. The official news agency reported that there is a warning against thunderstorms in most areas of Saudi Arabia from today to Sunday.

According to the General Directorate of Civil Defense, strong winds and heavy rain may occur in Makkah, Taif, Maysan, Adam, Al Khurma, Al Ardiat, Turba, Rani, Al Muwiya, Khia, Al Khurma, Bahra, Khulais, Al Kamil and Al Jumum.
Some of the areas in the capital Riyadh include Almajuma and Alsulfi and Tadiq, Rima, Shakra, Dharmam, Al Ghat, Al Kharj, Afif, Aldawadmi, Alquwayya, Alsulail, Wadi Aldawasir, Al Aflaj, Almusahimiyyah, Aldiriya, Huraimila and Madinah, Asir, Albaha and Jazan. , Najran, Hail and Al Qasim areas were also warned. Dusty winds and moderate rain are expected in Olaya along with Eastern Province, including Dammam, Jubail, Qatif, Al Hasa, Hafar Al Batan, Qizuma, Nariya and Al Khafji, the authority said. .
The General Directorate of Civil Defense said that people should stay in safe places during rainy season and stay away from waterfalls, valleys and areas where streams meet. A warning has been issued not to swim in waterfalls as they are unsuitable and dangerous and to follow the instructions announced through various media and social networking sites.
