South Korean Kia India will open order books for the 2023 EV6 from April 15, 2023, the company said. The price of the 2023 Kia EV6 starts at Rs 60.95 lakh for the GT Line and Rs 65.95 lakh for the GT Line AWD. Compared to the launch price, the EV6 received a price hike of Rs 1 lakh in January this year.
Kia EV6 was launched in India in June last year. The manufacturer says the model has received a good response with 432 units delivered in the last seven months. This is four times the volume originally planned for the Indian market. Kia says it is increasing its allotment of the EV6 for the Indian market this year as it aims to fulfill existing orders and new ones for the premium electric offering. Also, the Korean auto giant will expand its dealer network to 60 outlets in 44 cities from 15 outlets in 12 cities last year. The automaker also plans to expand its 150 kW high-speed charger network to 60 outlets.
