Hasan-Kali, who teased and grabbed a boy by the hand, caused a stir when the girl hit him with a sandal.
Yashwant, 24, from Kirkadalu Village, Alur Taluka, Hassan District, works in a private company in Hassan Town. He has been mocking and teasing a student studying in a college in the area for a few days.
The student warned him but he did not listen. After finishing college yesterday afternoon, the student was walking with her friend. Then Yashwant teased the student and grabbed her hand.
The student, who was very angry, took off her sandal and hit Yashwanth. The people of the area also gathered and gave alms.
Later, Hassan was handed over to the women’s police station. The student did not complain. Thus, he was sent on a warning.
