Even in a city with the history of Jerusalem, some places are holier than others. The Mount of Olives, with its churches commemorating events in the lives of Jesus and Mary, the holiest Jewish cemetery in the world, and tombs of famous people such as the Sufi mystic Rabia al-Basri and the medieval scholar Mujir al-Din, is one of them.
