Removal of metal garages from state land continues in Vilnius: more than 40 ha of land has already been freed

Two years ago, the Vilnius city municipality began to manage the arrays of metal garages illegally standing on state land. Currently, more than 80 percent of such garages have been removed in the capital. The remaining small part of garages that have not been moved is located in private areas, where the municipality cannot oblige to remove, but tries to encourage the owners to clean up.
