The bus operated on the Corixinha and Nova Esperança Settlement line. The drugs come from Bolivia. Investigations were initiated following an anonymous tip. According to the corporation, the driver went to the border with Bolivia. Still according to the PF, after transporting the students, the man passed the drugs on to the woman, who is a resident of the municipality. It was at this point that both were arrested red-handed. The bus and two other vehicles were seized. The Municipality of Cáceres issued a statement saying that it was informed by the security bodies about the arrest of the professional and reinforced that the driver is not part of the effective staff of the City Hall. The Municipal Administration also reported that there was no student inside the vehicle at the time of the occurrence and regretted what happened.
