The villagers of Kinathukkadu circuit use the service road under the flyover to reach these government offices. Some people come and go in vehicles like autos and bikes.
People coming by bus use the footpath to go from the bus stop to the taluk office. But, now this footpath is overgrown with plants, vines and bushes, so it is not possible to go this way. As a result, people coming to the taluk office avoid walking on the footpath and instead walk on the service road. This leads to traffic jams and vehicle accidents.
The public said, ‘We use the footpath to go to the taluk office. At present, the footpath is found in Budharmandi. Also, while walking on the pavement, there is fear due to snakes and poisonous insects.
So, we walk on the service road. The municipal administration should take action to remove the bushes near the footpath,’ they said.
