Social Front: C-Snesup-Secma on 120-hour strike from April 10

by time news

For the improvement of their living and working conditions, C-Snesup-Secma provides a work stoppage for 120 hours if the points listed in their list of grievances are not satisfied.

Through a letter addressed to the Minister of Labour, Civil Service and Social Dialogue, C-Snesup-Secma plans to observe a strike. The points listed in the trade unionists’ specifications relate to the immediate application of the search bonus, the consideration of the 3000 index in the context of the harmonization of the salary scale, the securing of the university space, the separation of the two statuses in accordance with the recommendations of the National Refoundation Conference (ANR), the granting of a travel bonus for Kabala workers and those of the IES in the regions.

To these points must be added the immediate and full payment of overtime and the costs of tasks related to examinations, the massive and immediate recruitment of teachers, the revaluation of the housing allowance, the granting of a service passport teacher-researchers in higher education and scientific research.

In the event that these points do not find a satisfactory answer, the trade unionists plan to observe a 120-hour strike from Monday April 10 to Friday April 14, 2023, immediately followed by a work stoppage from Monday April 17, 2023.

Faced with this gloomy situation, it is imperative for both parties (Government and trade unionists) to seek a point of agreement for the happiness of Malian schools.
