Kochi: The extremist reference in the Aluva agitation in connection with the suicide of Mofiya Parveen (Mofiya Parveen) is a headache for the police themselves. The CM also questioned the circumstances under which the protesters were accused of having terrorist links. Aluva CICI Saiju K Paul has gone on leave following disciplinary action against police officers. Pinarayi Vijayan sought information when the CPM arrived at the Aluva Gazette House for the Ernakulam district convention.

The SP told the CM about Mofia’s suicide and the legal action taken by the police following it. He also explained the action taken against the fallen officers. The SP also clarified the circumstances under which the remand report came up to probe whether the accused had any terrorist links. The CM said that the police should be more vigilant in such matters. Former CI Sudhir, accused in Mofia Parveen’s suicide, has been suspended.
