Dubai is once again the busiest airport in terms of international passengers. This is the ninth year in a row that Dubai International Airport has retained this status.
Dubai came out on top again in the report released by the Airports Council International after evaluating the figures for 2022. The number of passengers who used the Dubai airport doubled from the previous year to 6.6 crore. The airport has marked a huge comeback both internationally and regionally post-Covid. There are indications that the number of passengers will reach 7.8 crore this year.
Compared to 2021, there has been an increase of 127 percent in the number of passengers at Dubai Airport. According to ACI’s report, London’s Heathrow, Amsterdam, Paris and Istanbul airports are followed by Dubai.
