It’s almost a miracle that took place in Augusta, during the Masters of golf, the first major tournament of the season. At the start of hole n°17 of this mythical course, and while the weather conditions were made difficult by the wind, an unprecedented incident took place: several large trees were uprooted and fell in an area full of spectators. The images, impressive, made fear the worst, in particular with the commentators of the American chains.
Fortunately, no one present at the start of this hole n°17 was apparently injured. The rapid arrival of emergency services on site was able to confirm this. The tournament should be able to resume once the fallen trees are cleared. For this, the gardeners of the course are already hard at work behind the chainsaws.
