Aevery year On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of his death, Pablo Picasso (1881-1973) is celebrated through some forty exhibitions around the world, promising to explore all his facets. The ceramics of Picasso, Picasso and feminism, white at Picasso, Picasso under the eye of famous photographers, the young Picasso in Paris, Picasso sculptor… The monument is combined in all sauces within the framework of this anniversary, celebrated in France and Spain. In addition to the exhibitions, many conferences are planned this year, as well as the inauguration in the fall in Paris of a research center, close to the Picasso museum, and an international symposium at the same time at Unesco.

Congress. On the strength of an internal plebiscite in January, Fabien Roussel opened the Communist Party congress in Marseilles in a position of strength on Friday, which takes place all weekend. But his recent declarations on an “outdated” Nupes that should be extended to the center-left provoke the incomprehension of certain executives and of La France insoumise. So much so that some have banded together to publish a column in the newspaper Le Monde and say all the bad things they think about the outstretched hand to the former Prime Minister of François Hollande, Bernard Cazeneuve, and the questioning of the left alliance. But Fabien Roussel obtained a resounding plebiscite during an internal vote in January, crushing the text of orientation of the internal opponents, defended by the former national secretary Pierre Laurent, by 82% against 18%. He should thus be easily re-elected national secretary of the party, at the end of the congress on Monday.
