The cinemas had an excellent start to Easter with the normal premiere of Super Mario Bros. On Thursday it sold 152,000 tickets, but as on Wednesday with the pre-release it had achieved more than 90,000 so its accumulated in just two days climbs to 243,000 people as reported by Ultracine.
The cinemas in total on Holy Thursday had 215,000 spectators
Cinemas had not had this call for a while and we have to go to the discount days that were in February to find a similar figure, where on February 14 it reached 240,000 spectators.
In second place was Extortion with 26,000 viewers, the film starring Francella. And in the sixth, AIR appears, directed by and starring Ben Affleck.
Without a doubt it will be a very good weekend for theaters and possibly one of the highest grossing weeks of this year.
