Animated series is more exciting than the real films!

BILD reporter Martin Eisenlauer (50) recommends “What if…?”: What if Captain America was a woman? What if Dr. Strange mad with grief? What if the Marvel superheroes had to fight zombies?

The series “What if …?” Provides answers and tells far more interesting stories than you are used to from superhero films.

“Marvel’s What if…?” Runs on Disney +, currently has a season with nine episodes of 30 minutes each and is suitable for ages 12 and up

Like a flat share meeting after 20 years

BILD reporter Simone Day (44) recommends “And Just Like That …”: And … what? The title is the successor to the cult series “Sex and the City”. The main characters have gotten just as older as my best friend and I, who shared our respective “Mr. Big “hoped.

As with Carrie, Charlotte and Miranda, the friendship is still there – and so the new episodes bring back fond memories even without Samantha.

The real story of a terrifyingly manipulative serial killer

BILD editor Christoph Kochheim (49) recommends “The Serpent”: He looks very charming, but in reality he is a monster. “The Serpent” shows the story of the French serial killer Charles Sobhraj, who first exploited hippie tourists for his own purposes and then killed them in Asia in the 1970s.

A new epic for Fantays friends!

BILD reporter Ralf Klostermann (58) recommends “Wheel of Time”: Anyone who loves Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings should definitely take a look at “The Wheel of Time”. The adventures of the farmer’s son Rand al’Thor are legend among fantasy fans. Rand fights with his childhood friends against shadow creatures, gets help from sorceresses.

The book series by Robert Jordan comprises 37 volumes, almost impossible to create, but wonderful. The eternal struggle of good against evil continues.

We have never seen the Beatles like this before

BILD reporter Sven Schirmer (51) recommends “The Beatles: Get Back”: Documentary series about the “Fab Four” rehearsing their last album “Let It Be” with 60 hours of previously unpublished archive material.

The portrait of a quarreled band, which nevertheless wrote music history with unbelievable ease, humor and above all ingenuity. Incredibly close and incredibly authentic.

BILD reporter Marta Ways (37) recommends “The Chestnut Man”: A missing child, a gruesome series of murders and small, tinkered chestnut men that are left behind at the crime scene! There is absolute high tension with a scary factor in the Danish Netflix series.

Perfect for everyone who likes to cheer and has nothing against goose bumps.

Cooking is more exciting than any thriller!

BILD editor Michael Quandt (52) recommends “Whoever cooks last …” (The final table): 24 experienced restaurateurs from all over the world compete against each other and against time in country-themed cooking competitions. A jury evaluates the best dish in each episode; the worst plate has to leave the studio.

Cooking show at the highest level and real food porn – it’s a shame that there is still no TV with a smell!
