Today, passing clouds are expected throughout the country, which will thicken in the mainland and in the South Aegean. Local rains will occur, mainly after noon, in areas of the central and eastern mainland, in parts of Macedonia, Crete and the Dodecanese. A little snow will fall in the central and northern mountains, with indicative altitudes above 1500 meters. At night and early in the morning, the visibility in continental areas will be limited and local fogs will form.

The temperature will vary, in Northern Greece from -3 to 17-18 degrees, in Thessaly from 4 to 19-20 degrees, in Epirus from 4 to 18 degrees, in the rest of the mainland from 6 to 18 degrees, in the Ionian Islands from 7 to 18 degrees, in the Aegean islands and Crete from 7 to 19 degrees Celsius.

East northeast winds will blow in the mainland and in the Aegean, with the intensities in the Aegean locally reaching 5 Beaufort. North northwest winds will blow in the Ionian with intensities up to 4 Beaufort.

In Attica we expect temporarily increased clouds with the possibility of a few weak rains after noon. At night and early in the morning visibility will be locally limited. Winds will generally be variable and weak during the warm hours of the day from southerly directions with intensities up to 4 Beaufort. The temperature will range from 11 to 17 degrees.

In Thessaloniki we expect temporarily increased cloudiness with the possibility of temporary light rains or showers during the warm hours of the day. At night and early in the morning, visibility will be limited and local mists may form. Winds will blow from eastern directions with intensities of 2-3 Beaufort. The temperature will range from 10 to 16 degrees.
