Cartabia reform, presentation of the book ‘Restorative Justice’ in Rome

by time news

The “Restorative Justice” in the light of the regulatory framework contained in the “Cartabia” law amending the penal system. This is the theme of the event which will take place in Rome on 12 April – at 12 in the Aula Occorsio of the Court of Rome in Piazzale Clodio – and which takes its cue from the presentation of the book ‘Restorative justice in Legislative Decree 150/ 2022’, drawn up by the lawyer Arianna Agnese and by the deputy public prosecutor Francesco Marinaro.

The intent of the publication and of the debate, which mainly involve magistrates and lawyers, is to communicate the “transversal” scope of this reform, which will require a change of mentality on the part of all legal practitioners, of the people involved in the cause and the community. For this reason two important signatures of journalism were invited to participate – the director of Il Messaggero Massimo Martinelli and the deputy editor-in-chief of the Giornale Radio Rai Fausto Bertuccioli – profound connoisseurs of judicial reporting and the social circuit that revolves around the commission of the crime .

It is one of the first moments of reflection on this part of the reform, which is now close to entering into force and whose scope of application will also depend on the ability to assimilate its spirit and the cultural implications that animate it, inspired by reconciliation and sharing of pain and hardship, as vehicles for overcoming the social conflicts generated by illicit behavior of criminal relevance.
