In this sense, Miguel Bejarano, who lives in front of the square, assured that not only does it lack public lighting, it is also full of solid waste, which is thrown away by unconscious people who live within the sector.
“The square looks like a pitchfork, which also serves as a hideout for criminals, at night people cannot walk, it is very scary, that is why they need to attend to or remodel this space.”
Bejarano also stressed that the businesses that are located near the square are affected by the conditions of the site, for which they request the Maturín mayor’s office to be included in the beautification plan for the squares in the city.
