The curse continues. The Portuguese Renato Sanches, one of the symbols of the failure of the Parisian transfer window this season, had to leave his place prematurely this Saturday evening at the Allianz Riviera against OGC Nice. Established by Christophe Galtier, the midfielder was injured in the 2nd minute of play in a duel yet harmless in the midfield.
He collapsed to the ground, then got up grimacing. He then made the number a few minutes until the entry into play of Fabian Ruiz (10th). Difficult for the moment to know what the former hope of European football is suffering from, except that the pain is located on the right leg.
This is his fifth injury this season, each time it is located at the level of the lower body. The latest dates back to early February (hamstring on the left) and had kept him away from the field for almost a month. In total, according to the specialized site Transfertmrkt, Sanches has missed 16 games this season. Too much for a player of this caliber, supposed to densify the midfield but subscribed to the infirmary. Each time he wanted to chain two starting matches in a row, he was injured in the second.
