Three Salvadoran bodybuilders triumph in Lima

San Salvador. The Salvadorans Paulina Zamora and Aminta López, who are part of the Effort and Glory Program; and Yesenia Constanza, won gold medals at the Miss and Mister America IFBB Cup 2023, which took place in Lima, Peru.

Paulina Zamora placed first in the artistic fitness category and second in Fit Model, for which she also won a silver medal. Meanwhile, Aminta López achieved first place in the master’s bikini and third in the absolute bikini, winning the gold and bronze medals.

For her part, Yesenia Constanza took the gold in bodyfitness master and ranked fourth in senior body fitness, reported the National Sports Institute of El Salvador (Indes).

Bodybuilders from Peru, Venezuela, Chile, Mexico, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic and Costa Rica, among others, participated in the event.

He also highlighted the performance of Verónica Rodríguez, who took bronze in the fit model category.

In the men’s category, Óscar López obtained fourth place, in the games classic bodybuilding open category; Yuri Rodríguez, for his part, stayed in fifth place in the master’s bodybuilding and bodybuilding +90kg. While, Jorge Hernández, in bodybuilding 70kg and Edgar Pineda, in bodybuilding 85kg, were in sixth position.
