HNASA has successfully completed a mission that seemed impossible to humans. For the first time in history, a man-made spacecraft touched the Sun’s atmosphere. This history was made by NASA’s Parker Solar Probe. The Parker Solar Probe is NASA’s mission to study the secrets of the Sun up close. NASA has announced that the spacecraft has entered the upper layer of the Sun through the Sun’s atmosphere known as the Corona.

NASA reports that the Parker spacecraft flew for several hours at an altitude of 78.69 million kilometers above the Sun’s surface. The spacecraft was launched by NASA in 2018. The spacecraft has already orbited the sun nine times. NASA says the new atmospheric entry is part of a closer approach to the Sun in January. The Parker mission will attempt to reach 61.63 million kilometers closer to the Sun in January.

NASA discovered that Parker entered the Sun’s atmosphere after discovering a change in the magnetic particle state of the spacecraft as it orbited the Sun. According to NASA, the spacecraft orbits the Sun 15 times before January.
