The health authorities only confirmed the second Salzburg Omikron case in Zell am See on Monday. The person had returned from a trip abroad and tested positive on December 11th. Due to the quarantine that I started myself, there were currently no contact persons in Salzburg.
The city of Salzburg reported another positive case on Wednesday afternoon. This is the third confirmed Omikron case in the state of Salzburg. It is about a woman from the city of Salzburg, who returned from a trip from South Africa. On Friday she tested positive and has been in quarantine since then.
