Gulf News: Oman bans weddings and funerals in churches and public places

The decision will take effect from today. This restriction will continue until further notice. All gatherings in public places are prohibited.

Muscat: Oman tightens restrictions following reports of a new Kovid variant, Omicron. The Supreme Committee on Defense for Kovid Defense has ruled that marriages and mourning events are prohibited in churches, halls and public places.

The decision will take effect from today. This restriction will continue until further notice. All gatherings in public places are prohibited.
