Eight months after he lost his son in the Meron disaster, the late Rabbi Shalom Seller, one of the most important students of the sages in Bnei Brak, died suddenly of a heart attack and he is 60 years old at his death.

Baruch Dayan HaAmet: In Bnei Brak, Rabbi Shalom Seller, one of the most important students of the sages in the Ramat Aharon neighborhood in Bnei Brak, died suddenly.

This is a difficult tragedy and the second in the family, on Lag B’Omer 5761 months ago, he killed his 24-year-old son, the late Rabbi Chaim Ozer Saler, who was killed in the Rashbi celebration two weeks after the birth of his eldest daughter.

During the funeral procession on Saturday night, the late Avi HaGrash cried out in a voice choking with tears and said: “Haim my helper! If God has chosen you – this is best for you.”

He received the hard news of his son and during the shiva accepted the judgment on him with love.

The late Gershom Seller was born to his father, the late Rabbi Yosef Seller, one of the most distinguished figures and students of the sages in Bnei Brak, who died in 1904 after having a heart attack on Sheraton Beach.

In his election, he studied at the Ponivez Yeshiva in Bnei Brak, where he was a favorite student of the yeshiva leaders.

When he came to his senses, he married his wife, the famous educator Tzipora Feiga Shethi, the daughter of Rabbi Elazar Lebel of Petah Tikva.

All his life he sat and worked on the Torah with great joy, beating Torah at a number of yeshivas including Yeshivat Torah and Shalom in Bnei Brak and Yeshiva of Rabbi Shiloni in Kiryat Sefer.

Author of the book ‘An Entire Building’ on Tractate Nazir.

In the Ramat Aharon neighborhood, he was a very special figure, a figure revered and loved by all.

Suffered severe agony and during the Corona plague fell ill.

He won and left behind a blessed righteous generation of sons and daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren and great-grandchildren who sit and work on the Torah, of whom only one daughter has yet to lead to the canopy.

On the funeral procession tonight from his home at 7 Rabbi Sorotskin Street in Bnei Brak, we will continue to be updated on “In the Haredi Rooms.”

May his soul be bundled in the bundle of life.
