Teacher Luciana Cerri, 42 years old, was with her son, approximately 7 years old, on her lap at the time of the accident. At the end of the toboggan descent, she was thrown against the guardrail.

For the Civil Police, the victim was probably at high speed and that’s why he couldn’t stop in time. The cause of death will still be determined by the São Roque Police Station.

Mother and son, according to the police, were rescued and taken to Santa Casa de São Roque, where Luciana succumbed to her injuries and died. The boy’s condition was not disclosed.

On social media, Ski Mountain Park said that, in mourning for the victim, the park will remain closed this weekend. Asked about the security measures adopted in the toys, the company did not respond until the publication of the report.

The teacher worked at Colégio Photon, in Campinas, also in the interior of the state. “Aunt Lu, she was affectionately called by students, families and co-workers. A teacher, an incredible, phenomenal human being! Lu, gratitude for all the years of love and dedication to our educational project! You will always be in our memories and in our hearts! Eternal love for you!”, published the school on social networks.
