Rudy Gobert, the French pivot of the Minnesota Timberwolves, hit his teammate Kyle Anderson on Sunday April 9 in the last game of the regular season against the New Orleans Pelicans and was sent home by his franchise. A video shows the start of a verbal altercation between the two players during a timeout. Then the Frenchman punches Anderson before players separate the two teammates. The franchise then announced that the 30-year-old center would not play late in the game.
