Hapoel Mahane Yehuda is one of the oldest teams in the Premier League. It was founded in 1939, and in 1965 it qualified for the Premier League (then the National League) where it played for 3 years. Tonight (Wednesday) the team playing in the Second Division held a commemorative event for its 12 biggest stars and we will wait for “Kochavi Avenue Hapoel Mahane Yehuda” in the presence of Petah Tikva Mayor Rami Greenberg, representative of the Hapoel Center and the Football Association, Michael Weissman and chairman of the association Thick pansies.
About 700 people attended the event, including past players of Mahane Yehuda for generations and players from Hapoel Petah Tikva. The 12 past stars who were chosen for the Avenue of the Stars are: Moshe Gamliel, Shlomo Ben David, Shlomo Chubi Sharabi, Meir Miss Cohen, Zion Aharoni, Uziel Bitterman, Zvi Oppenheim, Elkana Shemen, Yochai Aharoni, Bnei Ratzon, Yigal Ratzabi, Zechariah Ratzabi.
Mayor Rami Greenberg: “A tribute to the players of the past who opened a circle of life for the neighborhood. Through them in the Judea camp, they set the path of life and direction for the future.”

It is sad that some of the players on the Avenue of the Stars including Shlomo Ben David, Shlomo Sharabi, Zion Aharoni, Elkana Shemen, Yigal and Zechariah Ratzabi passed away.”
