One of the highlights of the IPL is that everyone from local talent to international talent come together to play as a team for the success of the team. Various young players have created many achievements in this series. One such feat was accomplished by Kolkata’s middle order batsman Ringu Singh during the match against Gujarat yesterday.
Everyone thought that the Kolkata team would never win that match. Kolkata needed 29 runs to win in the last over. Middle order batsman Ringu Singh and fast bowler Umesh Yadav were in the field. The last over was bowled by Gujarat bowler Yash Dial. Umesh Yadav faces the first ball and Ringu Singh goes on strike for a run. Now all eyes were on Ringu. Whether he will bring success to Kolkata is a question. 28 runs needed off the last five balls. Faced with those five balls, Ringu Singh hit five consecutive sixes and made the Kolkata team win. 
As Ringu Singh flicked the last ball for a six, Kolkata captain Nitish Rana was the first to run onto the field and hug Ringu Singh with his finger extended. Running at the opposite end, Ringu Singh also ran towards Rana patting his chest. After that Kolkata players surrounded Ringu.
After the victory celebration, Kolkata captain Rana said that it has become the most important topic now. Ringu Singh hitting five consecutive sixes was his battle, he said. He further said, “I played this bat in the Syed Mushtaq Ali series, four or five matches last year and two matches this season. When he asked for my hood ring I did not give it to him. Someone brought this hood when we arrived at the stadium for today’s match.” said.
” I thought he would play with this hood. Likewise, he took the hood and entered the stadium. It wouldn’t be right to say it’s my pad right now. This bad ring belongs to Singh,” he said.
