A shooting in a bank building in the center of Louisville, USA today left five dead and six wounded, the AP reported, citing local police. Police officers and agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intervened at the scene, who killed the shooter during the intervention. All of the injured, including one police officer, are in hospital, according to CNN. Their health status is unclear.
It is not yet known whether it was an attempted bank robbery or another case of shooting, which is quite common in the United States.
Witnesses who left the building told local station WHAS-TV, that they heard gunfire inside. The station later reported that several ambulances were on the scene.

According to AP, the governor of the state of Kentucky, in which Louisville is located, is also heading to the place. “Please pray for all the affected families and the city of Louisville,Andy Beshear wrote in a short post on Twitter.
