Bank shooting in Louisville, USA: At least five dead and six injured

A shooting in a bank building in the center of Louisville, USA today left five dead and six wounded, the AP reported, citing local police. Police officers and agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intervened at the scene, who killed the shooter during the intervention. All of the injured, including one police officer, are in hospital, according to CNN. Their health status is unclear.

It is not yet known whether it was an attempted bank robbery or another case of shooting, which is quite common in the United States.

Witnesses who left the building told local station WHAS-TV, that they heard gunfire inside. The station later reported that several ambulances were on the scene.
