In Tamil Nadu today there is no new corona infection in Ariyalur, Kallakurichi and Theni districts.

As the incidence of corona in Tamil Nadu has come down drastically, the state health department today released a report on the current situation. Accordingly, 640 people have been confirmed vulnerable today. A maximum of 123 people have been diagnosed with corona in Chennai.
Corona affected 107 people in Coimbatore district, 51 in Erode, 49 in Chengalpattu, 44 in Tirupur, 42 in Namakkal district and 42 in Salem. There is no new impact in Ariyalur, Kallakurichi and Theni districts.
The total number of corona confirmed in the state has increased to 27 lakh 37 thousand 335. Today 692 people have been discharged after treatment in a single day. Thus the total number of people recovering from corona in Tamil Nadu has increased to 26 lakh 93 thousand 143.
Eleven people have died in a single day today from a corona virus attack. As a result, the death toll from corona in Tamil Nadu has risen to 36,644.
There are currently 7,548 people being treated for corona in Tamil Nadu. 1,02,775 samples were tested in the last 24 hours to detect corona infection.
